Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe is from a multi-cultural household. Born within South London. She is English as well as her father was Nigerian. She was born and raised on a council estate in the south of London. In the ages of fourteen, she was enrolled at The Brit School. In London she attended The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in which her acting diploma was awarded. She appeared in many stages during her high college days, such as the stage productions King Henry V and Wuthering Heights.
Madekwe's acting career began in the series Storm Damage. In the following years, she appeared in Teachers, Doctors Casualty and Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe's breakout came with 2007's Woody Allen film Cassandra's Dream. It was in the role of Colin Farrell (who played the role of Cassandra) as well as Ewan McGrath. The film's success led her to play Elisha in a one-off BBC Three drama West 10 LDN pilot, then appear in six episodes Trexx and Flipside in the role of Ollie. In 2008, she was cast as Bambi as the main character on ITV2's drama Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Madekwe was a part of the comedy How to Lose Friends and to annoy people (2008). The credits she has in her theatre work comprise Little Sweet Thing by Roy Williams as well as Flight Path by David Watson.
Madekwe made her US debut on the drama series The Beautiful Life, which only aired two episodes in the US on The CW before being cancelled. Ashley Davenport appeared in ABC drama Revenge in February of 2011. Madekwe's departure from the series was confirmed in May 2013. Following two seasons as a main character, she appeared as a guest in the opening episode of season three. From 2014-2016, Madekwe starred as Tituba in the TV series Salem. Madekwe and her partner who has been with her for a long time, Iddo Goldenberg, were wed in June of 2012. They worked together in the film Secret Diary of a Call Girl. He also played alongside Madekwe on Salem.

Ashley Leggat, an actress who was twice nominated for the Gemini Award, is a member of an extensive Hamilton family. Ashley Leggat was born to Roy and Patty along with her three older siblings - Brett, Todd and Bram and Rob. Ashley's brothers, who are all athletic, played in the summer months and play hockey in winters. Ashley had never been able to walk. She was a dancer. So when she was two and a half and a half, she began to take part in Baby Ballet. Ashley was enthralled by dance after this. When she was in the high school she attended, Ashley danced competitively in the highest divisions of ballet, tap, jazz pointe, acrobatics lyrical, musical theatre and hip-hop. In addition, she won best soloist awards at all important dance competitions such as International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance, among others.
