Her birthplace was Santa Monica, California on the 26th of November 1986. Her father Vincenzo Barba is her mother Valerie Barba. She and her family moved from Point Pleasant, New Jersey when she was 6. As for her education she attended Red Bank Catholic High School in New Jersey. Following her graduation of Catholic University with a Bachelor's in Architecture, she continued her studies at the university. She also played the violin from the age of four and was referred to for her role as Violin Lady. The performances of her were the reason for being called Violin Girl. She also taught the violin to neighborhood kids. In the six season of American Idol, she sang Free in the year 1976, at which time she was nineteen. The show was cut short when she was ranked 16th. There were many songs she performed, such as 2009's "The Christmas Song" as well as 2010's Out for Blood. She also appeared in a variety of TV shows like Jimmy Kimmel Live!
