Shannon Spake
Shannon Spake was born July 23, 1976. Shannon Spake is a NASCAR correspondent as well as an Fox Sports college and basketball reporter. Before joining Fox Sports, Spake was employed by ESPN. She was a contributor to SportsCenter's pre-game and post-game coverage. Additionally, she was a sideline reporter on ESPN basketball and college football games, she was a reporter for the SEC. Spake was also a reporter on SEC Network (owned by ESPN). Spake was employed previously by Speed Channel. She hosted NASCAR Nation's second season (June-November 2005) in addition to having reported for the first edition (February through June of 2005). Together with Marty Smith, she co-hosted Back Seat Drivers (a talk show) with Marty Smith. Her previous on-air jobs included stints at WCCB which is located in Charlotte, North Carolina, as well as Carolina Sports and Entertainment Television.
